Wonderfull Tambalang Waterfall, Berau East Kalimantan Indonesia

Today, I will share my experience visiting Tambalang Waterfall in East Kalimantan. We embarked on this adventure last Sunday, starting our journey from Tanjung Redeb. The preparations began at 5:00 AM, encompassing logistics and equipment needed for the extended journey. Our departure time was set for 7:00 AM. We gathered at Rahayu Mess, picked up a friend from Kodim Mess, and then convened at Monty Dock.

Before leaving Monty Dock, we arranged for breakfast around Teluk Bayur. After completing our meal, we commenced our journey from Teluk Bayur. The trip to Lebanan took approximately 30 minutes, where we took a 5-minute break to purchase snacks and water. We then proceeded towards Tambalang Waterfall, encountering numerous palm oil trees along the damaged and muddy roads. After a two-hour drive, we reached the parking area for Tambalang Waterfall.

Our exploration involved trekking and crossing a river using ktinting for 20 minutes, followed by a 1.5-kilometer trek. Finally, we arrived at Tambalang Waterfall and were deeply impressed by its breathtaking beauty. We spent three hours marveling at the surroundings before beginning our journey back to Tanjung Redeb at 3:00 PM.

Big Thanks to Naldi, Adil, Azril, Noval, Nia, Sintia and Ningsih.
